Description

Under the guidance of the Manager of Logistics and/or Sr. Inventory Control Analyst, the Inventory Control Assistant (ICA) assists with the management and accuracy of stock and Kanban inventory. ICA will also assist with counting, management, and reconciliation of virtual locations. 

The Inventory Control Assistant will develop skills and experience to become an Inventory Control Analyst in 1 to 3 years. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily cycle counts are administered and reconciled to meet our yearly requirements. Provide feedback to management on common issues or occurrences.
• Perform second counts on incorrect cycle counts.
• Assists with administering and reconciling stockroom audits.
• Assist with management of logistics managed virtual locations. These locations include all items without a physical location.
• Ensure all job orders are picked and transacted with 100% accuracy.
• Backfills for stock or warehouse team members as needed.
• Assist with reconciliation of returned or “found” material.
• Gain knowledge and experience to become an Inventory Control Analyst. 

Requirements

• Detail-oriented
• Proficient with Excel- a must.
• Two years experience working in a stockroom or Warehouse.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Physical and/or Environmental Requirements: 

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Experience operating fork trucks and order pickers
