Job Title: Inventory Control Lead

POSITION: Inventory Control Lead

DEPARTMENT: Morse Sash and Door Warehouse 

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

FLSA: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt 

BUSINESS HOURS: M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm (Overtime as needed)

WORK AUTHORIZATION: US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent analytical and organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment. The Inventory Control Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring timely receipt of products for production, coordinating returns to vendors, and resolving inventory-related issues efficiently.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory transactions in the system for production manufacturing orders, vendor receipts, movement of inventory, and scrap transactions.
  • Evaluate cycle count information and analyze discrepancies to identify root causes.
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse equipment proficiently.
  • Coordinate priority items for receiving, ensuring timely processing and distribution.
  • Maintain confidentiality for client costs and information.
  • Process returns to vendors for non-conforming inventory and coordinate RMA returns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve RMA and customer issues, including warranty validation and entitlement.
  • Fill in for receiving and warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or management 

Or

  • 4-5 years of experience in warehouse lead or management roles.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and warehouse equipment, including RF scanners.
  • Ability to lift to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing ladders.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs.
  • Tolerance for temperature extremes and ability to work in a warehouse environment with loud noises.

Working Conditions:

  • 75% Warehouse / 25% Office Duties as assigned.
  • Standing, sitting, and walking for long periods.
  • Exposure to loud noises.
  • Manual lifting ranging from 25lbs to 125lbs.
  • Loading, unloading, pulling, bending, and repetitive motions.

Supervisory Functions: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
