JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Manager - Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you have experience leading high-performing Quality Assurance teams who are distributed across multiple geographies? Are you comfortable being a hands-on manager as well as a QA strategist who can plan for growth?

The Qmerit Product Development team is looking for a great leader to join our team as a QA Manager. Your experience during all phases of SaaS product development, from initial design to final production release; your ability to define and improve processes; and your passion to evangelize quality across disciplines – all of these will be critical to our success. Your attention to detail and your high-quality bar will directly support our goal of delighting our customers.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring quality and usability of all our products to ensure that our customers are delighted. You will be responsible for managing a small team of QA Engineers in US, Mexico, and India. You will also be responsible for conducting usability studies to ensure the product is simple and intuitive. You will work closely with product management, development, user experience and customer support teams to ensure the highest quality product.

You will report to the Vice President of Quality Assurance and the position will be remote. 

YOUR OBJECTIVES

• Own the quality and usability metrics required to delight our customers
• Achieve highest levels of team performance across our global QA team
• On-time delivery of products that meet our quality goals
• Become the quality champion for Qmerit

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Be the owner of quality assurance process for all Qmerit product offerings
• Develop quality test plans and test cases
• Develop and track quality standards and metrics
• Create QA strategy for automated, manual, and usability testing
• Lead local, offshore and nearshore teams
• Make decisions on tools and resources needed for QA
• Develop product and domain knowledge across QA teams
• Ensure timely communication across all stake holders
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into QA process

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 years of relevant software industry experience
• 5 years of experience as a leader of a quality assurance team
• 3 years of experience managing other engineers
• Experience with working in an agile product development team
• Experience in test planning, requirements tracking and full automation integration
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience building internal and external relationships.
• Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through quality issues.
• Strong organizational skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $150K Bonus

Full Benefit Package including Medical/Dental/Vision. Twelve (12) paid Company Holidays, two (2) weeks of paid vacation per year, forty (40) hours of sick leave per year as further described in the sick leave policy, life and long-term disability insurance, 401k Plan with a match.
