Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Systems Engineer / Cloud Engineer supporting our Government Client in Reston, VA.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in full lifecycle systems engineering and project management of systems supporting technical mission sets
• Experience in the planning and execution of special projects includingcomposing summary analysis reports and advising government on feasibility risk, budget and schedules
• Experience providing technical support to programs by managing requirementsengineering, acquisition strategies, project management, test and evaluation, andoperational fielding of systems
• Experience assisting the government in building and assembling spend plansthat assimilate a dynamic cost, schedule and technical life cycle
• Experience serving in a technical role such as a Systems Engineer, Application Developer, DevOps engineer, or Cloud Engineer
• At least 10 years of experience (may be concurrent with systems engineering)developing end-to-end technology solutions in support of technical operations
• Bachelor's degree in STEM Field.
• Current DoD TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly or ability to obtain prior to start #qinetiqclearedjob
• Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly
• Proven track record of deploying and configuring enterprise services on classified networks
• Experience and expertise using a variety of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, S3, ELB, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Lambda, SNS, SES, etc.)
• Comfort using whatever scripting language is appropriate (Bash, Python, etc.) for automating and scripting tasks
• AWS or Azure certifications such as the certified solutions architect; specialty or professional-level certs a plus
