Position Summary
This role is a salary-exempt position. This role is a results-driven sales professional specializing in the Sound, Lighting and Video industry.
Essential Functions
While not all-inclusive, the following is a list of primary and general duties. In addition to these listed duties, this position shall also perform other tasks as assigned, shall abide by all provisions of the Employee Handbook, and shall participate in all company initiatives and projects.
Build and drive the full sales funnel process.
Accurately complete all event proposals in the CRM and collect deposits.
Identify and create solutions for client projects that meet the demands of the client.
Maintain relationships with current clients, suppliers and departmental stakeholders.
Build relationships with new businesses through networking events, online meetings, and social media to sell our event services.
Research information about prospective customers using available resources.
Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
Generate sales reports and forecasting.
Experience and Skills/Abilities
3 years experience in the production and live events industry required.
1 years of experience as the primary point of contact for a client base.
Knowledge of the creation, production and execution of sound, lighting and video events.
Strong computer skills are required per our sales process is managed through a CRM.
Ability to solve client problems with creative solutions quickly and efficiently.
Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills to be able to work within tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment.
This role requires the ability to move about an office environment, venues and show sites frequently. This role requires the ability to remain stationary 50% of the time and the ability to climb stairs. This will be both indoor and outdoor and temperatures can vary between extreme hot and cold. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
Travel
This position requiresfrequent travel, up to 60% of the time.Travel will be mixed local and outside the local area and overnight.
Expected Hours of Work
Hours of work are a typical work day schedule, except during high travel or high volume sales periods when evening and weekend work may be required. All breaks and lunches will comply with local, state and federal laws. Positions requiring overtime will be paid in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
