**Job Title: Office Assistant**

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support, assisting with customer inquiries, and facilitating efficient communication within the company.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage phone overflow by answering calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
- Assist customers with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for company leadership, including coordinating calendars.
- Order office supplies, equipment, and other necessary items to maintain inventory levels and ensure the office is adequately stocked.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials, services, and equipment needed for ongoing projects and office operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents to maintain a tidy and efficient office environment.
- Provide support to other team members and departments as needed, including assisting with special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Assist with collections phone calls and follow ups if necessary.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software applications.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Familiarity with the construction or roofing industry is advantageous but not required.
