Pye Barker Fire Safety is Hiring a Remote Onsite Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for a combination of planning and execution of activities related to the delivery of projects for their teams. When executing on project delivery, Project Leads are responsible for the success of one or more projects within a given timeline and budget, creation, and maintenance of status reports, proactively managing issues and risks, and working with 3rd party partners. Position Summary: The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts. The Project Manager is responsible for a combination of planning and execution of activities related to the delivery of projects for their teams. When executing on project delivery, Project Leads are responsible for the success of one or more projects within a given timeline and budget, creation, and maintenance of status reports, proactively managing issues and risks, and working with 3rd party partners. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Act as company representative onsite. Attend required onsite meetings for coordination, scheduling, and scoping of work. Build relationships at all levels with customer representatives onsite as well as other stakeholders working on project. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly. Provide weekly reports to the project manager and superintendent Conducts risk assessments: reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate). Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project. Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors. Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems. Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices. Perform other duties assigned by management. Education/Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to wear PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses, gloves, and steel toe shoes occasionally. Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces in construction and/or heavy industrial sites, climb ladders or and stairs. Minimal lifting, pushing, or pulling required. Ability to work inside and outside in hot, cold, wet, or dry environments occasionally Other Duties: Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
