SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for managing a wide variety of projects related to technology as well as technology operations and applications; overseeing each phase of a project from conceptual development through completion while maintaining scope, budget and schedule of each assigned project. Manage projects through application of project management principles, practices, and techniques to ensure that deliverables are high quality and submitted on schedule, Develop detailed management plans, charters and critical path schedules; estimate resource requirements; define milestones and deliverables; monitor activities to meet customer requirements, specifications, quality assurance standards and deliverable timeframes; evaluate and report on accomplishments. Lead, supervise and motivate cross-functional project teams; provide effective management and utilization of resources. Create communication plans and work breakdown structures; divide large-scale programming projects into smaller tasks; create interactive tickets to track towards the defined milestones; own the live project dashboard. Be an active participant in the deployment process.

• Thorough knowledge of safety rules, regulations, procedures and practices as appropriate

• Thorough knowledge of the business strategy and how IT relates to the specific business strategy and goals.
• Thorough knowledge of Cloud and SaaS technologies
• Thorough knowledge of software and/or technology implementations
• Knowledge of all the organization key IT services, systems, network and support.
• Knowledge of support tools. techniques and how technology is utilized to provide IT services
• Knowledge of Project Management principles for Service and/or DevOps projects
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Applications a plus
• Functional knowledge of tools such as; JIRA, Confluence, Azue DevOps, Git, and API Services
• Skilled in the diagnosis of advanced technical and design related issues
• Ability to shift between multiple projects, be a critical thinker and visualize the big picture while being detail oriented
• Ability to prepare and present project reports to management
• Must possess strong influence, collaboration, planning and organization skills
• Ability to lead high performing teams and to negotiate with team members to achieve desired results
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to use applicable computer software programs for communication, word processing, spreadsheet and database management, especially Microsoft Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage, prioritize and delegate work
• Ability to manage/supervise people and projects
• Ability to establish/maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, customers, officials, vendors, contractors, and the general public

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, , Business or a related field, certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute preferred anda minimum of five (5) years of experience in a project management capacity, OR
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience as defined above
• Certification in Agile Development or Scrum preferred.

 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must possess/maintain a valid driver’s license.
• PMP certification or obtain PMP certification within the first 6 months.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt a plus.

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
