We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support the sales team in promoting and selling our technical products and services.
Summary:
-Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Assist in the development of sales strategies and proposals
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Support pre-sales activities by answering technical questions and addressing concerns
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
-Extensive technical aptitude, familiarity with engineering principles and design guidelines, and the ability to provide quotations and recommendations for pumps, heat exchangers, and fluid processing systems.
-Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to obtain technical quotations and develop technical specifications
-Complex order confirmation, clarification, and entry
-Interpret documents such as engineering reports, drawings, and instruction manuals
-The ability to write clear, concise, routine technical correspondence
-Knowledge of word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), and simple CRMs
