We are a Home Medical Equipment Company specializing in complex respiratory disorders such as ALS, neuro muscular, COPD. We work closely with physicians, case managers, and patients to provide the best In-home respiratory equipment products and services to patients while transitioning from hospital to home.
Customer Service Representative
The customer service representative works in a fast-paced environment answering inbound calls and making outbound calls. The representative must have industry knowledge and be able to provide excellent customer service through informative product knowledge, friendly interaction, quick response time and problem resolution.
The position requires individual to verify information received from referrals sources, create orders, and or schedule patients to receive equipment as ordered by the prescribing doctor.
Job Duties:
· Review all required documentation to ensure accuracy
· Obtain pre-authorization if required by an insurance carrier and process physician orders to insurance carriers for approval and authorization when required
· Must be able to navigate through multiple online EMR systems to obtain applicable documentation
· Responding to customer inquiries and complaints via phone or email
· Resolving customer issues related to product orders, billing and delivery
· Maintaining customer records and updating account information
· Process customer orders and tracking shipments
· Collaborating with other departments to resolve customer concerns
· Proving product information and support to customers
· Keeping customers informed about product availability and estimated delivery dates
· Documenting customer interactions and providing reports to management
· Complete insurance verification to determine patient’s eligibility, coverage, co-insurances, and deductibles

· Communicate effectively and empathetically with customers.
· Ability to identify and resolve customer issues
· Knowledge of the products offered by company and its benefits
· Ability to prioritize customer needs and provide high quality service
· Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively
· Process customer orders and maintain and maintain accurate records
· Able to adapt to changing customer needs and work in a fast paced setting
