Your Role
We are hiring a Project Manager to support large capital expenditure projects and expansions in the life science industry. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements related to medical device build-out. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and success criteria. Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct risk assessments to inform project decision-making. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Work closely with construction companies and engineering firms on large commissioning and qualification projects, ensuring vendors are on schedule, while qualifying new vendors when required. 
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying and addressing budget variances.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations and ensure alignment between project goals and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Additional responsibilities as required. 

Requirements

  • Senior level, must have 5-10 years of capital expenditure PM experience within the medical device/life science industry.
  • Junior level, must have 2-6 years of capital expenditure PM experience within the medical device/life science industry.
  • Experience working closely with engineering firms and construction companies.
  • Experience leading large commissioning and qualification projects. 
  • Strong vendor management experience. 
  • PMP certification is a plus. 
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the life science sector.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
  • Travel is required. At PSC Biotech, many of our projects and clients are located in various regions around the country.
