Summary:
This top 50 ENR Company is looking for a high performing Project Manager to join their team. They have a diverse project portfolio across Mixed-use, Healthcare, Multifamily, Corporate Office, Education, Hospitality and more. Having been around for over 90 years and building in Chicago since the 90s, they have a reputation of building some of the most well-known projects in Chicago.
The ideal Project Manager candidate will have at least 7 years of experience with an upward growth trajectory throughout their career. A bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or the like is required and the ability to run projects on your own from inception to completion.
Duties:
· Schedule and supervise sub-contractors
· Act as a liaison between operations, subcontractors, and vendors; supervises and monitors work of contractors and provides follow ups to ensure complete of work.
· Communicate regularly with clients/tenants regarding schedule, updates, and project completion.
· Maintain records of all change orders and inspections on specific jobs.
· Develop and manage project specific budgets.
· Conduct update meetings with operations, contractors, and clients to ensure constant communication.
· Review site plans and blueprints to monitor successful completion of project.
· Assist with pre-project estimating based on proposed project scope.
· Maintain current and develop new relationships with contractors, architects, and vendors.
· Participate in weekly meetings with the Project Team.
· Communicate with Architect and client regarding project design and drawing scope and review.
· Review monthly project job cost, labor, and project cost projection reports with Sr. management and ownership. Prepare and present budget versus actual project cost spreadsheets.
· Document pictures of the project progress.
· Other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or similar
· 7 years of experience at a reputable general contractor
· Career progression shown in your resume
· Ability to run projects from inception to completion ($5M )
