Responsibilities :

• Contacting debtors via phone, email, and mail to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding debts.
• Utilizing legal avenues, including demand letters and legal proceedings, to recover outstanding debts.
• Reviewing and analyzing accounts to determine appropriate collection strategies.
• Hands on AR posting and accounting as needed.
• Collaborating with attorneys and legal staff to escalate cases as necessary and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Providing exceptional customer service while effectively communicating payment options and resolving disputes.
• Conducting skip tracing and investigating to locate debtors with delinquent accounts.
• Adhering to all state and federal regulations governing debt collection practices, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Qualifications :

• At least 4 years of Accounts Receivable AND OR Collections in a LAW FIRM setting
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a high-volume workload.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and collections software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
