The current EWA for this position is Hybrid or Fully Virtual. While this position does not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office.
What you can expect:
  • Responsible for Return to Work efforts on specific diagnostic categories and early durations through direct referral from disability claim managers and data mining for return to work opportunities from reports.
  • Manage a caseload of short term disability claims focused on early duration, diagnosis specific return to work opportunities.
  • Will engage employees, employers, and attending physicians in identifying transitional Return to Work options and accommodations for return to work.
  • Develop effective return to work plans with employee, employer, and attending physician when necessary; apply knowledge of employer and occupation to provide accommodation options to employers.
  • Monitor employee’s return to work to ensure successful transition and revise return to work plan as necessary.
What you’ll need:
  • Experience in case management, return to work, human resources, recruiting, or disability management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, task follow-through and quality of work.
  • Problem-solver who independently resolves situations.
  • Excellent proficiency in Office 365 suite (e.g., Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
It'd be a plus if you had:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in humanities field such as vocational rehabilitation, counseling, psychology, social work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, work under tight time constrains, and be able to prioritize work.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $53,600.00 to $79,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
