About the Role

Our mission is to “connect all learners with the expert teachers they deserve.” By leveraging technology we can provide a content certified teacher anywhere across the country, leveling up the educational journey for students who previously did not have a certified teacher. Due to the teacher shortage there will be more than 500,000 vacant teaching positions expected this school year which will force millions of children to lose another year of education. Every teacher we place is highly trained and managed to ensure every student is successful. We educate more than 100k students daily, striving to reach 1 million students served, and employ 800 teachers.
This position will report to our Director of Sales. We are looking for someone to develop and work leads. You will discuss district staffing needs and consult with them on how PLI can provide access to the teachers they need to ensure their students have access to a certified teacher. You will be trained and placed on a team to work as a group to ensure we can provide teachers to every school that has a vacancy. Being a former educator is a plus as you will be speaking with your peers, Superintendents, Principals, Counselors and HR Managers at schools and districts. This position will be located in Kansas City Metro.
