**Customer Service Representative**

We have an exciting, new opportunity within our Operations Department of our Covington Office. The Customer Service (CS) Representative will work in a team environment to service/support the Life, Annuity and New Business Operations Departments. This position will service customers through multiple channels including incoming and outgoing calls, email, chat and miscellaneous administrative duties. The CS Rep will have interaction with customers, agents, funeral homes, attorneys, etc. Excellent communication skills and a desire to serve are required. This position requires someone with attention to details, organizational skills, time management, computer skills and have a professional demeanor. This exciting opportunity will expose you to several positions within Protective and provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary for future growth and advancement. **Responsibilities:**
Handles contact with customers, teammates, management, and other departments.
Requires tact, conflict resolution skills, and the knowledge and experience of the business to provide accurate and informative answers to customers inquiries.
Review and process transactions within time goal required.
**Qualifications:**
High school diploma
Strong background in customer service gained by at least 3 years work or equivalent experience.
Call Center experience preferred but not required
PC experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office
Available to work any shift within the contact center Hours of Operation (Mon-Fri 8a-9p, and potentially partial Saturdays 10a-3p)
This position is an in office position
