Job Summary:

The Counter Sales Associate will assist Customers through the entire sales process, monitor inventory and restock products as needed. The Counter Sales Associate is critical in building relationships with and advising Customers on product recommendations.

Counter Sales Responsibilities:

• Responsible for writing, pulling and/or checking sales orders for accuracy.
• Responsible for verifying orders.
• Responsible for verifying Customer balance information prior to orders being picked up.
• Responsible for order fulfillment for pre-order and pick-up or direct counter sales.
• Responsible for processing returns accurately for crediting process.
• Responsible for pulling and staging will call orders as soon as possible.
• Responsible for daily procedures for opening and end of business process.
• Responsible for monitoring and working calling queue multiple times per day.
• Fills counter stock location and monitors inventory levels.
• Responsible for organization of product placement, overstock and empty stock for counter sales area.
• Maintain a clean and organized shelves to increase product visibility.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area free from trash, non-product, and other items that do not belong in the counter sales area.
• Assist with calls for inside sales department.
• Responsible for payment processing and daily auditing of cash drawer.
• Assisting Customers with questions and providing solutions quickly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Counter Sales Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to apply mathematics for order processing and payments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to complete sales orders on computer.
• Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures.
• Basic computer literacy

Physical Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Prolonged periods standing
• Ability to use a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
