Property and Casualty Insurance Agency is Hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) Near Paramus, NJ

Looking for a dynamic, Licensed Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team!

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and committed individual to join our team! Our Customer Service Representative is responsible for taking care of our customers directly. The CSR will act as a liaison to provide office support, product/service information and resolve any emerging problems that our clients might face with accuracy, understanding and efficiency.

Job Duties:

  • Provide service for existing insurance agency customers
  • Quote, sell and bind new policies for potential
  • Taking customer payments
  • Properly document and update all customer information within our customer service database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Mail and document management
  • Other duties as requested

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Valid property and casualty license in the State of New Jersey
  • Be proficient in the rules and regulations related to personal lines and commercial lines insurance
  • Ability to handle high volume phones and email requests
  • Bi-lingual, fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Excellent servicing and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, speak articulately and persuasively
  • Administrative duties including; mail, data entry, office supplies, customer interaction
  • Must be a team player and dependable
  • Database/CRM experience preferred
  • Computer skills are necessary i.e. word & excel
  • M-F from 9:00 am - 5 pm
  • Possess strong drive, ambition and goal orientation

Up to $10,000 in annual performance incentives in addition to salary and benefits.
