We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Accounting & Finance Team. The ideal candidate is experienced in data processing, Accounting principles, report creation, and is a self-starter.

Responsibilities for Financial Analyst

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
• Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
• Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new investment regulations or policies
• Develop models that help with decision-making
• Creating charts, tables and graphs to allow them to present data in an effective format
• Analyzing financial reports, including data on income and expenditure and market performance
• Interpreting information about yield, price, risk, stability and other factors that contribute to a company’s viability
• Monitoring industry news and developments to identify potential investment opportunities and minimize risk
• Maintaining a working knowledge of their industry using trusted sources such as trade bodies, industry experts, government agencies and other corporate developments.
• Comparing stock performances for their industry and using them to make predictions
• Creating financial models and using them to recommend investment, expansion, cost-cutting ideas or revenue growth streams
  • Reviewing company accounts

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
  • Power Bi a plus
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
• Attention to accuracy and detail required

Work Environment

This position will mainly consist of in-office work which entails computer usage, interdepartmental meetings and communications. This position’s duties may change based upon business needs and/or busy event schedules.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. 

Position Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Range of $70,000-$80,000 per year
• Daily lunches in the office
