Description
Summary: Transport clients to and from medical and/or health-related appointments, recreational activities and to community events/ and appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Transports clients to and from medical and/or other health-related appointments.
- Transports groups to and from recreational activities and community events.
- Completes required paperwork, such as daily activity log, daily trip sheets, vehicle inspection form, accident report, and equipment logs.
- Assists staff members with special outreach and networking activities.
- Provide on-site coverage for clients when not driving
- Performs other duties and special projects as required from time to time.
- Regular interaction with Department staff to assure provision of transportation services that achieves a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Clean and valid drivers license required. Completion of Defensive Driving Class required. Ability to drive15-passenger van. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively and sensitively with clients. Flexible hours and punctuality are key requirements. In addition, the Driver shall perform any duties as required to meet the needs of the agency and the clients that we serve.
