Producers Rice Mill is Hiring a Key Account Manager Near Little Rock, AR

Company Description:

Producers Rice Mill, Inc. is a stable 80-year-old company corporately located in Stuttgart, Arkansas, with a national marketing & sales office in Little Rock. The position will be based out of the Little Rock office. Producers is one of North America’s largest supplier of rice products nationally to foodservice, retail, industrial and export markets. We are looking for an enthusiastic, strong individual to join our successful sales and marketing team.

Job Description:

As a member of our executive sales management team, this individual will be involved in the maintenance and growth of national retail, foodservice, and industrial programs. The manager will work directly with existing accounts as well as develop new accounts on a broad national basis. The position reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Sales-North America, based in the Little Rock office. With a large and stable nationwide customer base, Producers is a respected leader within the food marketing industry. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage current sales programs and partnerships with existing customers.
  • Establish strategic new accounts to increase market share.
  • Manage and oversee broker partnerships to deliver sales support and sales growth.
  • Prepare and present written and oral sales presentations with key decision makers.
  • Negotiate customer contracts, RFQ’s and other agreements.
  • Travel required (overnight air travel): approx. 20%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years sales management experience.
  • Experience in food and beverage or consumer products industry, preferred.
  • Experience with broker/sales rep management, preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and develop customer, market & product strategies.
