We're looking for an experienced Manager - Software Engineering to join our User Identity and Access Management division to manage the Users team. Your leadership will be instrumental in leading the development and execution of next generation User Registry service and tools,enabling Login flows and connected experience between users, vendors and projects they associate with, within the secure context of the access control rules and policies.

This position will report to the Director of Engineering and will be based in our Austin office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:

• Define and implement a roadmap for the Users team that aligns with company objectives and industry best practices alongside your Product Partners.
• Manage delivery of features using agile and scrum methodologies including all the ceremonies
• Collaborate with senior product, architects, UX and business leaders across Procore to own and drive complex technical, architecture, design, and product discussions with the aim to deliver highly scalable, performant, available, and secure solutions
• Help identify and propose solutions for technical and organizational gapsby running proof of concepts and experiments working with Engineering and Architecture on implementation
• Work with other engineering leaders across Procore to drive user focused solutions
• Lead, mentor, and manage one or more team(s) of engineers, ensuring continuous team growth and individual development
• Align with senior engineering and technical leaders on org-wide initiatives that are both technical and cultural in nature

What we're looking for:

• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience is required; an MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
• 4 years of leading and managing 8 engineers and 7 years of hands-on coding and software design experience
• Experience working with complex SaaS platforms that operate at high scale, and are built around APIs, asynchronous services, various data stores and MFE approach to UI development.
• Proficiency in SDLC process using agile methodologies including all ceremonies.
• Experience building services with AWS (EC2, EMR, RDS, K8s), GoLang/Ruby, React, PostgreSQL and Data pipeline/streaming tools (Kafka) is preferred
• Past Experience of having delivered high-quality product and services in a global, multi-region setup with a focus on performance, reliability, scale, availability and access provisioning.
• Past Experience of working in a matrix and a highly collaborative environment within engineering and other functional teams.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a variety of audiences

Additional Information
Base Pay Range $158,680 - $218,185. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
