Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire and Water Mitigation Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in fire and water restoration projects. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the mitigation process, from initial assessment to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage fire and water mitigation projects from start to finish.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to determine the scope of work required.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Procure necessary equipment, materials, and subcontractors for each project.
  • Oversee onsite operations, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying and addressing any deviations or cost overruns.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience managing fire and water mitigation projects, including mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices related to fire and water damage restoration.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience supervising and motivating teams of subcontractors and technicians.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Certifications such as IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Fire Restoration Technician (FRT) are preferred.
