• PM with SDLC experience
• Will be working on AML/KYC projects (scoring, models)
• PMO activities: manage project from start to finish with timeline, meetings, backlog, interact with stakeholders, adhering to project plans, allocate resources appropriately
• Banking/financial clients
• Understand tech aspects, whether a project requires certain file access, etc.

Job Description
The Retail Services Partner Delivery (RSPD) Project Management department is responsible for managing the execution of small to midsize business managed technology projects and business projects including AML/KYC, sanctions, transformation, scoring, decisioning, data assets, analytics, process engineering, automation, technology and new partner launches. This position works with other department leaders from Risk, Marketing, Regulatory, Technology, Collections, Modeling, Compliance, Financial Crimes and corporate teams to define, prioritize, and execute projects and programs. The position will partner with RSPD and other internal Client departments to ensure flawless and comprehensive execution of projects. The position reports into the SVP, RSPD – Project Management Organization (RSPD – PMO) for Client Retail Services.

Key responsibilities

• Experience in full life cycle development of applications and Project Management to take projects through Delivery with proven ability to achieve results.
• Strong knowledge on several project management methodologies like Waterfall, Agile and Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD).
• Partner with multiple Businesses and cross functional teams, RSPD Delivery, IT, CATE and third-party vendors to plan, track and coordinate the integration and delivery of business managed technology and business projects that meet the growing business needs, evolving technologies and emerging regulatory requirements.
• Comfortable driving projects for current technologies like Drools, Java/J2EE, UNIX, SAS and databases like Oracle and Web Services like SOAP and REST API's. Should be forward compatible and be able to drive projects with evolving technologies and current trends like Cloud AWS, RedHat BPMS, Big Data Implementations and Analytics tools like Tableau, QlikView etc.
• Develop end-to-end delivery plans and align specific tasks/deliverables from various integration teams and with stakeholders to ensure delivery plans meet business requirements.
• Leverage strong business, technical and interpersonal skills to manage expectations, and to proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
• Ability to actively manage multiple projects and responsible for risk and issue management, reporting on project metrics.
• Develop documentation and presentation material to communicate program/project status and plans to Stakeholders to keep them up to date on project status and issues.
• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile project teams with responsibilities including facilitating Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ability to function as a team member and work with many different stakeholders with strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline is a plus
• Professional 5 years relevant working experience as a Project Manager; PMP/CSM certification a plus
• Expertise in at least one of the project management methodologies like Waterfall or agile etc.
• Expertise with project management tools such as MS Project, Visio, Excel, JIRA, SharePoint, etc.
• Excellent oral and written commercial communications skills.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $62.00 per hour
