Job Details
Responsibilities
As a Sr. Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
1. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and principles.
2. Performing bank reconciliations, GL analysis, and credit analysis.
3. Managing cost accounting and handling multiple projects.
4. Leading and participating in operational and technical excellence initiatives.
5. Offering top-notch client services, focusing on enhancing client relationships and working collaboratively within a client-focused team.
6. Utilizing your expertise in Ultra Tax, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Excel, AdvanceFlow, and GoFileRoom.
7. Demonstrating leadership skills, guiding junior staff, and contributing to their personal development.
8. Participating in business development, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the growth of the business.
9. Preparing budgets, forecasts, and internal controls.
10. Leading tax preparation and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A degree in Accounting or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in Ultra Tax, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Excel, AdvanceFlow, and GoFileRoom.
4. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage a client-focused team.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. A commitment to providing exceptional client service.
7. A strong understanding of operational excellence and technical excellence.
8. A passion for personal development and the ability to foster this in others.
9. Experience in business development and a proven record of contributing to business growth.
10. Expertise in preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, GL analysis, credit analysis, and cost accounting.
11. The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
12. Strong skills in financial reporting, financial analysis, and general ledger.
13. Experience in account reconciliation and financial accounting.
14. Knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
15. Experience in tax preparation and a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
