Job Description

Our Benefits Specialist oversees the administration of employee benefits and retirement programs for over 11,000 employees in the US and Canada. Responsibilities include ensuring effective delivery of benefits, fostering employee engagement, staying updated on industry trends, and coordinating various benefit programs such as health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, and more. Additionally, you will serve as the main point of contact for all employee benefit inquiries and claims resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 years related Benefits Administration or HR Generalist experience
  • HR Certification a plus
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
  • Proficiency with UKG Pro or other HRIS and benefits administration software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits principles, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and ask questions as appropriate
  • Customer-focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Desire to work with day-to-day administrative processes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
  • Physical activity may include:
    • Stand and walk for extended periods of time
    • Ability to lift 15 pounds or more
    • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice
    • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
