Description
Growing medical group is seeking a Medical Receptionist who has interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal concerns and/or family medicine or is interested in learning about a new field of medicine. Candidates should be interested in working with patients of all ages.
Must have the ability to provide quality customer care, multitask, listen attentively to patients, make judgement calls about what questions or problems need to be dealt with more urgently than others, and verbalize needing support when something is unclear. Candidates should also be tech savvy and familiar with Google Drive.
Medical receptionist duties include but are not limited to:
Answering phones, making appointments, distributing forms and paperwork to patients, medical record releases, greeting patients, checking patients in and out, ensuring the required fields in the patient chart are completed properly, collecting co-pays, collecting identification and insurance information, triaging calls, scanning documents, etc.
