Description

We are a Multi-Specialty office located in Wethersfield, CT hiring a full-time Insurance Credentialing Specialist. This candidate must have prior experience in insurance credentialing process.

Credentialing functions include:

• Credential each new providers with all applicable insurance companies and hospital.
• Provide guidance to new providers, direct and or assist them in obtaining all licenses.
• Update insurance companies and hospital as needed for new providers or as needed 
• Maintain CAQH website and attestation of all providers and maintain group credentials.
• Responsible for maintaining individual files on all licensed personnel, including all correspondence to and from credentialing departments at the insurance companies.
• Process any revalidation, re-credentialing, and renewals as needed.
• Serves as a liaison between insurance companies and providers and resolves any problems concerning provider information to ensure continued reimbursement.
• Answers any credentialing questions or inquiries and assist as needed.
• Keeps supervisor informed of new guidelines for credentialing, upcoming changes, and any problems envisioned.
• Provides practice managers and management team notification of credentialing status
