About the Role

This individual is responsible for coordinating and scheduling of all day-to-day electrical service needs and requests or our customers. Also, central to this position is collaborating with Project Managers, Service Coordinators and Field Staff in the planning, management direction, project completion, customer satisfaction and positive financial outcome of all service and special projects.

The Project Management position at Stoner is a performance-based position where managers are empowered, evaluated and rewarded on achieving a projected level of gross margin earned on their projects.

What You Will Do

Manage service and proposal requests, coordinating schedules efficiently.

Support field teams by providing training, troubleshooting assistance, and overseeing materials procurement.

Perform electrical bid takeoffs and assemble bids for service work and small projects.

Ensure quality control, workmanship, and compliance with electrical and building codes.

Develop new and grow existing customer relationships.

Meet with inspectors, schedule labor for service calls, and monitor billing for timely updates.

Address customer concerns on invoicing, while managing project planning and layout.

Independently make decisions, attend client and field meetings, and oversee project lifecycles.

Proficiently handle PO systems, change orders, document control, and cost forecasting.

Provide training for office and field staff, balancing client and company needs effectively.

Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Monitor jobsite safety and take corrective action when needed.

Collaborate with other project groups for warranty and small work requests as a technician.

Perform additional duties as required.

What You Will Need to be Successful

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working with software-based estimating, accounting, scheduling, and project management systems

Knowledge of electrical trade and/or construction-related background, including electrical wiring methods and industry best practices, and a thorough understanding of electrical, building and energy codes and their application to electrical projects and design.

Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles

Electrical estimating skills to produce job change orders, evaluate, and apply job estimates and assist with new estimates as required

Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Demonstrated leadership managing people

Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills

Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
