What You Will Do

  • Manage and oversee the entire life cycle of AV installation projects including video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, and other audio-visual systems
  • Responsible for estimating, proposals, and negotiation of pricing with client.
  • Lead the process of designing, equipment selection, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Work with end users, engineers, and internal teams to assess a client’s AV needs and provide cost effective solutions.
  • Review and prepare monthly financial projections for projects
  • Acts as the single point of responsibility and accountability of the successful construction and profitability of projects.
  • Manage project development from initiation to completion
  • Work with all stakeholders to complete project outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, etc.
  • Clearly communicate expectations to team members
  • Act as mediator between stakeholders and team members
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with change order
  • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
  • Procure work and develop new relationships
  • Ability to handle both large and small simultaneously
What You Will Need to be Successful
  • Expert knowledge of all current audio visual manufacturers and current technology and trends

  • Minimum 5 years experience of AV project management required
  • Degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred, or on-site commercial electrical installation construction background
  • Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principals and techniques is preferred
  • Evaluate and apply job estimates and assist with new estimates as required
  • Must be proficient with project management tools and software
  • Knowledge of and experience with integrated job cost systems to budget, and evaluate reports
  • Knowledge of and experience with design-build delivery models
  • Experience with identification and quantification of project impacts
  • Ability to use commercial judgment in customer relations
  • Demonstrated leadership managing people
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work environment

$140,000 - $160,000 a year
