Seeking a full time office assistant to join our team that has an interest in third party management, can work independent of others, multi task and work well under pressure. This is entry level position.

We are a growing third party property management business located in Baltimore City. We currently manage over 400 units in Baltimore City and County. We are seeking a professional, self- motivated, dependable and detail oriented individual to work in our fast paced property management company as a liaison between PPMI, property owners, tenants and various government agencies. The candidate must have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND VALID MARYLAND DRIVER’S LICENSE in order to travel to rent court, property registration and post office as needed.

The position responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:

  • Coordinating property preparation for occupancy including maintenance work orders and maintenance tech follow up
  • Maintaining property owner accounts to include lead inspections, property inspections and registrations
  • Maintaining tenant accounts to include water bills, rent collections and rent discrepancies
  • Assisting in maintaining company media presence such as the company website, Craigslist and various other social media
  • Assisting and support all company departments as needed on a daily basis
  • Reviewing daily reports concerning notice to vacate, vacancy reports, activity reports and assist with resolving issues
  • Performing data entry into management software program with detail and accuracy
  • Completing Failure to Pay Rent & Warrant of Restitution documents
  • Posting Eviction & Non-renewal notices
  • Listing available properties for rent
  • Completing property registration forms
  • Schedule showings for vacant properties
  • Process rental applications
  • Complete lease signings
  • Contact leads daily

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel & word) Software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very strong organization skills
  • Must be able to learn at a fast pace
  • Must be able to use social media
  • Must be a people person

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma with 2 years of professional administrative experience preferred
  • Property management company experience is not required but willingness to learn the industry is a must
  • References and transcripts required

Compensation: $13.00-$16.00/hour depending on experience plus commissions for each complete lease up.

Expected hours: 15.00 – 16.00 per week
