Title: Experienced Medical Assistant - Premier Dermatology

Premier Dermatology is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in dermatology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of dermatological procedures and treatments and be proficient in utilizing EMMA EMR (Modernizing Medicine) software.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Patient Care:** Provide exceptional patient care by assisting dermatologists in clinical procedures, including but not limited to biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments.

2. **Medical Records Management:** Proficiently navigate EMMA EMR (Modernizing Medicine) software to accurately record patient information, medical histories, treatment plans, and test results.

3. **Appointment Scheduling:** Efficiently manage patient appointments, ensuring smooth flow of patients through the clinic.

4. **Assist Physicians:** Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist dermatologists during examinations and procedures.

5. **Patient Education:** Educate patients on dermatological conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care instructions.

6. **Administrative Duties:** Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, verifying insurance information, and processing billing.

7. **Inventory Management:** Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.

8. **Quality Assurance:** Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care.

**Requirements:**

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology practice.

2. Proficiency in using EMMA EMR (Modernizing Medicine) software.

3. Strong understanding of dermatological procedures, treatments, and terminology.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

6. Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.

7. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices.

8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
