Premier Automation is seeking a highly motivated Automation Intern to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist our automation engineers in developing and implementing automation solutions for our clients. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist automation engineers in designing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting automation systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for automation projects
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of automation equipment and systems at client sites
• Research emerging automation technologies and industry trends
• Create documentation, including user manuals and technical reports, to support automation projects
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients during the implementation and operation of automation systems
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in automation technologies

Required Experience and Education:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong academic background with coursework in automation, control systems, robotics, or related disciplines
• Familiarity with automation software and tools, such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Prior internship or co-op experience in automation or a related field is a plus
• Some travel is required for this position to visit client sites for project installations and support. Travel expenses will be covered by the company.
