The Procurement and Accounts Payable team is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst responsible for accuracy, policy compliance, and timeliness in the day-to-day administration of accounts payable. As an AP Analyst, your skills in professionalism, good judgment, excellent communication, and consulting will be helpful as you frequently interact with employees across the company, as well as outside contacts. Your role is critical as it ensures the proper accounting for all complex accounts payable and related transactions, critical to Premera Blue Cross's operations and subsidiaries. What you will do: Responsible for procurement and invoice processes using Workday, the Premera ERP system. Ensure the successful outcome for daily invoice entry, statement review, Stop Pay/Reissue (SPRI’s), Unapplied Receipts, and invoice send backs to ensure invoices are paid accurately and timely. Own supplier relationships and meet with suppliers to present analysis, work through issues, and support suppliers SLAs to ensure supplier invoices meet Perform analysis on supplier invoicing to ensure Premera standards and straight-through invoice processing is achieved. Partner with Enterprise Vendor Management Contracting (EVMC) to provide a united front with our suppliers and set invoice and payment standards as needed. Administer corporate card/expense reports. Review, audit, and execute settlement runs. Test, troubleshoot, and function as a technical liaison on Workday system. Recommend, lead, and participate in process improvement projects and/or opportunities to gain efficiencies in the workflow. Utilize accounts payable best practices to design, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and training. Provide support for internal and external audits. Work collaboratively with employees at all levels to detect issues, provide recommendations, and implement agreed-upon solutions related to complex transactions and system discrepancies. Provide ongoing and 1-1 training with the business as needed. Maintain working knowledge and respond to internal customers' questions of all company policies relating to Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Finance. Provide training to internal customers on end-to-end Procure to Pay processes. What you will bring: Associate degree. (Required) Three years of experience in a high-volume production area. (Required) Advanced education and/or certification in purchasing management as well as experience with Workday or similar applications. (Preferred) Knowledge of applicable finance and accounts payable policies and ability to provide input to policies. Strong experience with contracting and procurement best practices, general accounting functions, and internal controls, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to recommend options and implement solutions. National Salary Range: $42,600.00 - $63,900.00 National Plus Salary Range: $48,500.00 - $72,800.00 *National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
