Purpose: Manages and administers sales activities for a specified territory.
Core Responsibilities:
*Sells company products and services through distributors and/or direct sales.
*Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping distributors/customers informed about products and prices.
*Maintains a thorough knowledge of products and services.
*Responsible for meeting established sales quotas and conformance with annual budget.
*Analyzes and prepares sales forecasts and reports.
*Maintains constant awareness of markets, competitor activities and problems with assigned area; develop solutions and remedial plans to overcome challenges, recognizes trends that develop and takes corrective action.
*Proven track records meeting and exceeding financial targets.
*Develop territory sales plans, sales forecast, and successful execution.
*Regular performance reviews and evaluations of channel partners/distributors
*Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering preferred.
*Minimum of five years proven technical sales and sales management experience.
*Possess strong technical knowledge/aptitude, power generation and utility industries experience.
*Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deals.
*Strong contract negotiations and proposal generation.
*Strong connections and strong knowledge with OEMs products.
*Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
*Independent and self-starter.
* Multilingual is a plus.
