Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is Hiring an IT Service Manager Near Watertown, SD
- Oversee 100% of the requests, incidents, and problems daily. Manages and coordinates urgent and complicated support issues. Act as an escalation point for all requests and incidents. Develop and mature phone/ticket escalation processes to ensure free-flowing escalation and information within the organization.
- Train, coach, and mentor Service Desk operations (Level 1 / 2) including career development. Oversee staff activities daily. Builds/obtains (from other departments) training material for support staff. Manage staff and activities necessary to effectively coordinate the service request fulfillment life-cycle on ITSM best practices.
- Provide data and reporting of KPIs and trends to the IT department and others in ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, and as needed.
- Oversee the Solutions repository and ensure top-quality solutions are available to the staff.
- Manage processes for communicating scheduled and emergent outage activities to the organization.
- Direct the development and management of a program for scheduled optimization and enhancement activities as it relates to Prairie Lakes Healthcare System.
- Lead the recovery efforts for service outages.
- Establish the lifecycle management process for hardware and software assigned to the Information Technology cost center.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations.
