To support the mission of the Offices of Inspectors General (OIG), the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) has established the Pandemic Response Center of Excellence (PACE) for the purpose of conducting data analysis and visualization; sharing leading practices; providing tools and services; and providing investigative intelligence. The mission of the PRAC is to promote transparency and conduct and support oversight of covered funds and the Coronavirus response to (1) prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement (FWA&M); and (2) mitigate major risks that cut across program and agency boundaries. As part of this mission, the PRAC works with Federal Inspectors General (IGs) to develop recommendations on measures to prevent or address fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement; provides support in conducting investigations, audits, and reviews relating to the covered funds and Coronavirus response; and refers matters for criminal investigations.

Praescient Analytics is in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer to document and test software, systems, and workflows for errors and verification before and during software deployment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform code and QA reviews, perform system and model testing as required
• Review existing fraud analytic capabilities and identify gaps.
• Identify and recommend tools, and associated configuration, to improve fraud analytic capabilities.
• Develop new standards for production and design and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines.
• Establish formal software development, code control, and build processes for major and minor (patches) releases and full integration.
• Establish and maintain documentation to include, but not limited to, system and application versioning and changelogs.
• Assess capability gaps of the current architecture and develop an architecture roadmap/transition plan.
• Plan for deployments, patches, upgrades, fixes, enhancements, software and hardware change verifications and releases in accordance with the Government-approved deployment plan.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of relevant work experience in software development and quality assurance.
• Experience working within an Agile development environment.
