Proposal Writer (Full-time)

Praescient Analytics is seeking a Full-time Proposal Writer focused on supporting and securing new business opportunities. The Proposal Writer develops and prepares proposals written in response to government-issued RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and/or RFIs (Requests for Information). The successful candidate will work in coordination with the Proposal Manager and leadership team to provide end-to-end writing support for assigned proposal section(s) or volume in response to Federal solicitations to ensure delivery of a well-written, compelling, and compliant response. This role will allow for fully remote delivery.

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual and leader to become a part of a growing team!

Responsibilities:

  • Produce proposals and concept papers that communicate the core concepts of our business strategy, mission, impact, and products to multiple audiences, including contracting officers, proposal evaluators, policy makers and senior leadership.
  • Manage and write complex proposals that require coordination between multiple teams and partners.
  • Develop deep expertise with government procurement, use cases, existing customers, and potential customers.
  • Utilizes proposal database and previous bids to research content for compliant proposal responses
  • Assist with tracking business opportunities and maintaining BD pipeline documentation

Minimum Experience:

  • 4 years of experience developing technical narratives in response to Federal solicitations
  • Knowledge of Federal procurement process
  • Ability to write and edit in clear, concise, and compelling language
  • Evidence of a successful track record of high quality, high scoring proposals
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently across multiple functions within the company
  • Ability to analyze compliance-driven/technical documentation to determine government requirements and to understand complex customer issues within the public sector
  • Ability to work closely with multi-functional teams to develop a customer-specific proposal strategy
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive and SharePoint
  • Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen
