Analytica is seeking a remote QA Analyst to support data and analytics project for a federal government client. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, enterprise cloud or on-premise software and technology projects. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

• Formulating and documenting test plans aligned with software requirements and technical specifications.
• Actively participating in reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections to enhance the overall quality assurance processes. 
• Developing test cases and prioritizing testing activities 
• Executing all test cases and reporting defects, defining severity and priority for each defect 
• Recording and documenting results and comparing to expected results 
• Detecting software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected 
• Generating historical analysis of test results 
• Documenting anomalies and issues 
• Examining code and execution of code in various environments 
• Verifying specific action or function of code 
• Operating and maintaining test networks 
• Creating meaningful error handling procedures for application code 
• Carrying out regression testing every time changes are made to the code to fix defects 
• Ensuring data integrity standards 
• Performing reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/programming or management information systems or at least eight (8) years of experience in computer science/programming or management information systems.
• Must be proficient with programming languages, and proficient with test management tools and methodology. Extensive knowledge and skills using Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, SAS and Python 
• Experience working with popular Software Quality Assurance frameworks and tools. 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a group setting. 
• Functional experience with testing strategies including Unit Test, Integration Test, Performance test, regression test, acceptance test etc. 
• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodology
• Must be US Citizen and have the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
