Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and promote the mission, values and principles of Powernet.
• Provide on-site and remote assistance in resolving technology support issues.
• Review incident tickets and respond to end-users appropriately; resolve open tickets in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive client experience.
• Image PC's and setup servers, workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, copiers, and other network equipment.
• Support technology implementations/upgrades.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Lead new project implementations.
• Act as a customer technology expert
• Troubleshoot system and network issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions that align with customer objectives.
• Design, deploy, and manage virtualized infrastructure using VMware and Hyper-V technologies.
• Act as a point of escalation for junior members of the IT team.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

• IT Managed Services experience
• 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, supporting, designing, and building Microsoft Windows domain environments. 10 years experience preferred
• Strong windows domain experience (Server 2016 ) such as group policy, user administration and Powershell experience is a plus
• Email server administration (G suite, O 365, Exchange. Office 365 or MCSE certification preferred)
• Proficiency in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Senior level knowledge of on premise virtualization solutions such as the following: Vmware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Xenserver
• Proficiency in networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
• Experience with HPE Nimble Storage or other enterprise storage solutions a plus
• Industry certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud Architect Certifications, MCSE or equivalent
• Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex IT systems and infrastructure
• Experience implementing Windows, Active Directory and Exchange, Networking, IP Addressing, virtualization and storage
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Previous MSP experience is a plus as this is a high level role
• Knowledge of PSA ticketing systems such as Connectwise
• Knowledge of RMM software such as Connectwise
• Must possess a valid driver license
