WHAT WOULD I DO

As the Sales Development Representative (SDR), you are responsible for the development of new prospects. You will set appointments/demos and booth visits at trade shows with prospective clients and transition prospects to a sales executive/director. You are responsible for development of new prospects, from a combination of outbound efforts and responding to inbound customer inquiries.

AWESOME PARTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • Source new sales prospects through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Initiate calls to set appointments for the sales team
  • Initiate calls to set booth visits at trade shows for the sales team
  • Making outbound calls to our targeted prospects
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Uncover pain points of prospects for sales team
  • Route qualified prospects to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Serve as an enthusiast for PowerChord’s products
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territories/segments.
  • Offer guidance on appropriate products and/or services.
  • Execute sales strategy, identify new opportunities/leads, and generate sales reports.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES WE NEED (REQUIRED)

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 2 years successful sales/call center experience in lead generation or appointment setting experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation
  • Familiarity with social media, Google Apps and Gmail tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Energy, passion, humor, compassion and enthusiasm

SKILLS AND ABILITIES WE WANT (PREFERRED)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field from an accredited school or University
  • Experience with brands or manufacturers, SaaS platforms, franchise environments, or ad agency preferred
  • Experience selling digital advertising solutions is helpful

OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:

  • There is travel up to 10% of the time
  • There is a need to lift 15lbs
