About Power to Decide
Power to Decide is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization. At Power to Decide, we envision everyone—no matter who they are or where they live—has control over their bodies and can decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child. Our mission is to advance sexual and reproductive well-being for all, with a focus on abortion and contraception. We accomplish this by providing trusted information, expanding access to quality services and catalyzing culture change.
Position
The Development Manager is responsible for advancing philanthropic relationships with a range of funder types including individuals, foundations, and corporations. This position will be responsible for creating and implementing a grant strategy, identifying funding opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives. The Development Manager will collaborate with the Development Operations Manager and Vice President, Development in the execution of fundraising appeal and a comprehensive donor communications and engagement strategy.
This is a remote position. However, the preferred location for this position is within reasonable traveling distance to the DC office as a presence in the office monthly, or as necessary, is required.
The Development Manager will report to the Vice President, Development and work closely with the Development Operations Manager, as well as with colleagues across departments.

The Development Manager is a full-time, exempt position. Salary is based on market factors and individual experience and abilities. The starting salary range for this position is $70,200 to $79,600 annually.
Power to Decide has an excellent benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 403b plan with 6% employer contribution after one-year, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, flexible work schedules, and generous leave which includes PTO, vacation accrual, summer hours, a floating holiday, and paid holidays.
