We are seeking an equally passionate Receptionist who will provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

As a Receptionist at PosiGen, you will be the first point of contact to assist our customers, team members, and vendors with their needs! As a PosiGen Main Office receptionist, you will work within the organization to help it run smoothly.

You will greet visitors, answer phone calls, and occasionally run errands while maintaining professional composure throughout interactions with customers or potential customers.

This position will be located onsite at our St. Rose, LA office.

Essential Job Functions

• Greets and screens all visitors at the front desk.
• Guides all visitors to the correct employee.
• Guides vendors for deliveries or repairs.
• Responsible for the appearance of the lobby area.
• Informs staff of building issues / drills.
• Collect, stamp, and distribute mail.
• Collect and distribute packages.
• Answers phones, takes messages or fields / answers all routine and non-routine questions.
• Completes requested and assigned administrative responsibilities.
• Orders and tracks necessary supplies as required.
• Assists with lunch deliveries for meetings.
• Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and department activities.
• Tracks soda machine stock, and reorders as needed.
• Clean the soda machines once a week.
• Helps with large mailings as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to accurately type 45 words / minute

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
