About the Role

Responsible for passionately crafting and serving a delightful array of coffee and espresso beverages while overseeing delicious food and beverage options. Loves creating a warm, kind and friendly atmosphere for customers and teammates alike.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering, following established measures and recipes.
• Accurately enters orders into the POS system, handling cash and charge payments.
• Maintains cleanliness in the service area, replenishing condiments, beverages, and supplies.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
• Upholds sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Follows approved recipes and production standards for food and beverage preparation
• Keeps display equipment clean
• Thoroughly cleans equipment and workstation before transitioning to other assignments.
• Greets customers courteously, addressing concerns and communicating them to supervisors.
• Efficiently serves customers, minimizing delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of daily menu items, providing accurate explanations to customers.
• Advocates selling techniques, fostering communication, and assisting in the customer decision-making process.
• Merchandises display foods attractively and serves them neatly per standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a comparable customer service position, preferably within a coffee-centric setting.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities, showcasing the capacity to connect with and engage with customers
• In-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for coffee, encompassing brewing techniques, coffee varieties, and flavor nuances.
• Proficient in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-related equipment.
• Attention to detail, ensuring uniformity in coffee preparation and presentation.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-paced environment, managing multiple customer orders simultaneously.
• Competence in cash handling and basic math skills.
• Exemplary cleanliness and organizational skills
• Adaptability to work during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
