BaristaCome be a part of the #1 Zoo in Texas!SSA Group @ San Antonio Zoo has a fully franchised Starbucks on site. Open Every Day of the Year! $12.50/hr.Every barista will go through Barista Training so no previous experience needed but is a plus. JOB DESCRIPTIONReporting Relationship, the Barista reports directly to the Food Service Supervisor(s) and Food Service Operations Manager(s).Responsibilities consist of but not limited to:  Perform the steps of LATTE Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.  Meets daily quick service, food service, safety and quality, availability, merchandising and guest service standards.  Participates in safety logs including food temperatures, rotation and waste as necessary.  Ensures proper uniform, hygiene, handwashing and glove use with self.  Maintains a SSAfe work environment by abiding to all SSAFETY rules.  Follows through daily prep and items lists, as assigned.  Actively helps to support operation in assigned role, supporting holes as necessary.  Actively and efficiently responds to guest and client feedback, with report to the supervisor to ensure that any potential complaints are mitigate against further occurrence. Communicates up to the Restaurant Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager in regard to any issues seen with daily service or quality.  Remains knowledgeable of all menu items, prices and specials for sharing with guests.  Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.  Maintains a clean, safe and organized work environment. Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures.  Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements. Job Requirements • Goal-oriented and flexible to meet the needs of the operation. • Demonstrates desire to help the team succeed. • Cash handling experience and register knowledge. • Barista experience preferred, with ability to navigate multiple drink menu items and build to the standard of service per location. • People person that is guest service oriented. • Knowledge of food safety standards, quality, and presentation. • Individual who brings excitement and opportunity to engage with the team and guests. • Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements. • Must be at least 16 years old for operating beverage equipment.
