As a Software Engineering Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
This role will be responsible for managing a team of Quality Engineers within Lending Technology in the Innovation, Automation Engineering and Delivery Team. The team’s main function is on building and delivering numerous AI solutions for lending products ranging from Conversational AI / Virtual Assistant, Document AI, and Robotic Process Automation. In addition, the team also solves various business problems through their innovation domain by implementing solutions across a variety of tech stacks.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• Management or leadership experience
• Experience with Selenium, Karate, or Cucumber preferred to focus on automated testing across QE team
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and quickly adapt as new technologies evolve in the AI domain
• Knowledgeable of change management process requirements

Job Description
Manages development projects, development teams and application support functions.
Oversees multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs.
Monitors and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
Analyzes applications to ensure that all systems that are developed, meet business needs and specifications.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5 years of industry-relevant experience. At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required.
