Position Description

Shift Supervisor are responsible for overseeing schedule, quality and setting up extrusion machines in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements. This position will report to Production Operation Manager

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for schedule and quality during shift
• Provide a positive work environment.
• Communicate with Production Operation Manager and Engineering Team.
• Oversee data collection.
• Provide process improvement ideas from shift.
• Manage Training of new operators and set up personnel.
• Full responsibility for machine and line operations including reading, interpreting and analyzing production orders.
• Ability to consistently maintain speed and quality of production line within guidelines of spec book.
• Inspecting output to assure quality of materials produced including locating defects and checking for conformance to specifications.
• Distinguish between a mechanical problem and an operator error, and to perform troubleshooting and take corrective measures.
• Responsible for keeping your work area clean and safe.
• Accurately count and report production and inventory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
