Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of Quality Processes/Procedures, Quality Plans, Customer Contract Quality Requirements, performing inspection of finished products and analyzing data to identify any deviations from Quality requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of quality control processes, and the ability to use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply quality practices for aerospace products.
• Perform data package reviews.
• Assist with implementation and review of established procedures.
• Support final inspections, process improvements, and first articles in accordance with established procedures.
• Verifies incoming materials and documentation, such as Certificates of Conformance, Analysis, Drawings, Specifications and Quality Clauses per customer requirements
• Perform in-process and incoming material inspections as needed.
• Ensure required documentation and traceability is sufficient for finished products.
• Perform manual and computer data entry as needed.
• Initiate and implement corrective actions, track trends, and update logs.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure product dimensions meet specifications.
• Document appropriate information for Quality Inspection reports for each order.
• Create and maintain current files for all Quality related correspondence.
• Resolve customer complaints or problems in regard to rejected or non-conforming product in a timely manner.
• Report any unusual discrepancies or problems promptly to management.
• Suggest new testing or inspection methods to minimize inspection efforts required.
• Remain current on Quality Control practices and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to address Quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control role
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and processes
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and compliance requirements
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with our administrative team

Prior Quality Assurance experience required.

Manufacturing setting experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
