• Responsible for opening or closing the cafe daily.
• Personable, outgoing, and enthusiastic about interacting with diverse guests.
• Passionate about coffee.
• Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment. Maintain required cleaning and sanitizing of the work area. Includes espresso machine, grinder, pour-over parts, utensils, etc.
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently.

The candidate should possess the following:

• Excellent communication and “listening” skills
• A passion for hospitality and customer service
• Ability to learn quickly, and be self-motivated
• Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred
• Strong ability to multitask
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to problem solve quickly
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to follow directions
