Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, including various types of specialty coffee and tea. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: educating guests on our entire menu, both food and beverage, suggesting recommendations based on their preferences, upselling special items and taking orders. Baristas are expected to maintain high level customer service skills and knowledge of how equipment operates.
Responsibilities
Greet guests when entering establishment
Assist in navigating our beverage menu and food menu
Be able to answer any questions regarding ingredients
Accurately take orders, paying attention to details and special requests (blend, dairy and sugar options)
Accept payment from guest, both electronic and cash
Prepare beverages accordingly referencing recipes
Serve food and beverages to all guests in dining area
Maintain/clean/sanitize dining area and lobby, restocking service stations, offering water
Perform verbal and non-verbal quality checks w/ guests
Comply with health and safety regulations
Accommodate guest requests as much as possible
Provide feedback to chef/management team
Create an overall pleasing experience from guest entrance to exit.
Skills and Requirements
At least 1 Year Experience as Barista/ Restaurant Server
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Basic Math Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
